Status of Rwanda's economy
Rwanda’s economic profile states that it is one of the promising economies in Central Africa after recording an 8 percent GDP growth from 2001 to 2014. However, the country continues to deal with the poverty problem as 63 percent of the country’s population belongs below the poverty line. In line with this, the country of Rwanda highly relies on foreign assistance. Although reports said the government of Rwanda is mounting a series of reforms to alleviate the situation.
